So you have decided to learn to drive. Thank you for choosing A & M School of Motoring. Learning to drive can be scary and difficult but here we try to make it fun and enjoyable for you with our patient instructors.

First things first, have you got your provisional driving licence? If yes then you can call us to arrange your first driving lesson on the number below. If NO then visit www.dsa.gov.uk or apply via the post office using a form called D1, fill this form out with two passport photos and then send it off. Once you get your provisional licence back then you can call us for your 1st driving lesson.....ITS THAT EASY!!!

Your first driving lesson will consist of an assessment by one of our instructors, if you have never driven before then your first lesson will consist of the "controls" and "moving off, and stopping" the car. You will receive a training record to follow your progress of your driving lessons. Each driving lesson will be tailored to your personal needs. As your lessons progress you will get graded on a scale of 1-10, (1 being novice, 10 being test standard) Once at test standard you will be able to book your driving test. We can even give you a mock driving test!!!!
